After a number of years working on mainframe and mini computers creating warehousing systems I decided that I needed a change of direction. I went back to University to study an Access course and after weighing up my options I decided to study for a New Media degree, BA (Hons) Media Production, at the University of Derby which I passed with distinction.
Since university I have been employed by a number of clients with work including mobile applications for The Pulvertaft Hand Unit at The Derby Royal Hospital, a Flash based online publication reader which was used by Aston Villa, Chelsea and Fulham Football Clubs, a Christmas Advent Calendar for Barclaycard Uk and web-based realtime hardware monitoring software used by Hospitals and Power Stations.
During my spare time I enjoy a variety of sports including badminton, five-a-side football and skiing. My real passion is tennis, though, and I regularly play both mens & mixed doubles for Woodlands Tennis Club and singles in a box league.
